Why "Day 2 - Think Big"?

It’s time to get wild and tap into those big feelings and dreams for 2019. Coming from a place of inspiration, energy and imagination is the best way to start your visioning.

What can I do today?

Step 1: Look back at 2018. What are you acknowledging yourself for?

Think back to all of things you did in 2018, and write down what you’re proud of. If any thoughts like “I was just lucky” or “I didn’t do that much” filter in, put them aside with gratitude. You are a powerful woman who kicks butt, just own it.

What strengths did you show? What did you learn? What challenges did you overcome? What was fun and made you smile?

This year I started this business (YAS!) which showed determination, met my amazing partner and spent time getting to know and love who I am. I was a bridesmaid in my bestie’s wedding, did lots of fun travel, and spent quality time with family - that all made me smile! I'm proud of investing in new and old friendships.

Step 2: Imagination time

Close your eyes. Well read this first and then close your eyes! Imagine it’s January 2020, you’ve had some time to rest and relax after the holiday break. You’re excited to look back at 2019 just like you did last year.

Picture yourself and reflect on:

  • How are you feeling about 2019? Name the feelings - for example: happy, fulfilled, accomplished, proud or relaxed.

  • What are you proud of and celebrating?

  • Where were you this year, and where are you now? Think of locations and what they look like.

  • Who did you spend your time with? Think of people who already exist, or people you're hoping to meet.

  • What did you get up to in the last 12 months? Be specific about work, travel, and the fun things you did.

Step 3: Write it all down

Don't censor yourself, or hold back. Let your thoughts for 2019 go wild. Write them down with no time limit. If you feel like cutting out pictures and sticking them up, do that. You're doing this for your eyes only, so there are no rules.

TL;DR - Actions for today:

  • Celebrate what you’re proud of from 2018. No ‘justs’ or ‘buts’ – own it. Write it down.

  • Imagine you in January 2020 - what are you proud of?

  • Write it all down - don't hold back
